Mitch Alland, MBA, Chairman
Mr. Alland has a distinguished career in the mining and finance sectors. Currently a director of Emerging Metals, Mitch was also a founding shareholder and CEO of former AIM-listed Copper Resources Corporation (CRC). CRC controlled three copper projects in the Congo, one of which is under construction and expected to commence production at the rate of 50,000 tonnes per annum in 2008. Prior thereto, Mr. Alland had a 23-year career at the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), its affiliate responsible for private sector project financing in developing countries. He has broad-based experience in finance and management, including exposure as manager, investor, merchant banker and financial advisor.

Mr. Alland has extensive experience with mining projects worldwide, starting with early attempts in the 1970s to develop the Tenke-Fungurume copper project in Congo (then Zaire), and, following, in 1975 to 1986, with major projects by Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines, ZCCM, (then Nchanga Consolidated Copper Mines, NCCM), including the financing and review of the company's major expansion projects, among them its major copper tailings leach and cobalt projects, as well as supervision of the company's activities throughout the period. Mr. Alland's subsequent activities in minerals and mining involved the LAMCO iron ore project in Liberia, the MIBA diamond project and the Kilimoto gold project in Congo (Zaire), and financing of the Alucam (Pechiney) aluminum smelter in Cameroon. Subsequent experience in 1990 to 1992 involved mining projects in South America, including Escondida (copper) in Chile, Comsur, largest private mining company in Bolivia, Yanacocha (gold) and Southern Peru Copper in Peru. Mr. Alland was board director of Comsur and alternate director of Escondida.

Mr. Alland holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. from Harvard College. He speaks English, French, German, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish and Thai.

Brian Lueck, President & Director, Chief Operating Office
Brian Lueck is a registered member of the Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia. He is currently President and Chief Executive Officer of Solfotara. A Philippine resident for more than 12 years and active in mineral exploration for more than 22 years, Mr. Lueck has past experience as an officer and director of several Canadian public companies involved in mineral exploration in Canada, Philippines, Indonesia, Russia, Venezuela, Costa Rica and United States.

Denham Hervey Newall Eke, Chief Financial Officer
Mr Eke started his career in stockbroking and insurance with Sheppards & Chase and then Hogg Robinson plc. Over the last 15 years he has held directorships of a large number of public and private companies, principally involved in financial services, equity investments, and property ownership and management, where he has been tasked with rationalising and restructuring operations to enhance profitability. Since 2002, Mr Eke has been the Managing Director of Burnbrae Group Ltd. He is also Chairman of Webis Holdings plc, Chief Executive Officer of Manx Financial Group plc, Chief Financial Officer of Emerging Metals Limited (AIM: EML) and CDC (AIM: CDC) and a non-executive director of Speymill plc, ARBB AG and New Rivington Street Holdings Limited.

Darren Paul Devine, Non-executive Director
Mr Devine is currently the President of Chelmer Consulting Corp., a Vancouver, Canada based company that provides corporate finance advisory services to companies primarily in the natural resource sector. Mr Devine has been a founder, director, committee member and/or officer of a number of private and public companies including founder, former President and current director of Crazy Horse Resources Inc. (TSX Venture Exchange: CZH); founder, director and Executive Vice-President of Petro Vista Energy Corp. (TSX Venture Exchange: PTV); and founder and senior advisor, Smash Minerals Corp. (TSX Venture Exchange: SSH). Prior to founding Chelmer Consulting Corp., Mr Devine practised securities law with the firm of DuMoulin Black LLP in Vancouver, Canada. Mr Devine is a non-practising solicitor qualified in British Colombia, Canada and England & Wales. Mr Devine holds a B.S. from the University of Northumbia, England and a Diploma of Law from the Royal College of Law, York, England.
