Rodrigo Paringit, Geologic Consultant
A registered and licensed geologist (Reg. No. 352) and mining engineer (Reg. No. 670). He started his professional career with Acoje Mining Company Inc. in Zambales Province, the largest metallurgical chromite producer in the Far East, and remained there for eleven (11) years as Chief Geologist. During this time he pioneered in the exploration for nickel sulfides and PGM deposits, discovering the first of its kind in the Philippines.

He has over 30 years of experience in the field of mineral exploration as consultant to mining and exploration companies in the Philippines up to the present.

He is currently President and CEO of Citygroup Philippines Corporation and Canaan Richfield Inc., mining companies duly existing and organized under the laws of the Philippines and stakeholders of several mining tenements in the country which are viable prospects for chromite, nickel, Platinum Group Metals(PGM), iron, sulfur, gold, silica, volcanic aggregates, copper, manganese and white clay.

Ernesto Hidalgo, Geologic Consultant
Ernesto B. Hidalgo was VP Exploration for CDCP Mining during the exploration and production of the Basay Mine. He is familiar with all aspects of the project and remains in contact with all the surviving personnel who operated the project.

A respected mining engineer and geologist, Ernie brings 38 years of exploration and mining experience to the team, and has an intimate knowledge of the Basay Mine Project.

Colin brings a multi-disciplinary approach to property evaluation, exploration, feasibility studies, ore reserve calculations and mine development planning.

In the 1950's he trained in geology, physics, mining engineering and economic geology, taking degrees in Adelaide. He worked on the staffs of Broken Hill South, Kennecott and Newmont for twelve years in exploration, feasibility and mine development, with more time in post-graduate study and mineral stocks advising. He was involved in the design and development of CSA mine at Cobar and managed early exploration and drilling at Ok Tedi as well as exploration of 47000 sq. km. of lrian Jaya. Newmont and BHP set his consulting practice up in l974, with assignments throughout SE Asia and the SW Pacific.

From mid 1975 to mid 1976 he was the Director of Planning in the Exploration Division of the Australian Atomic Energy Commission, drawing on his reactor physics studies as well as work on many uranium deposits and mines.

From 1976 to 1981, prefeasibility, design and putting into production the 25000 tpd Muhong copper mine at Basay in the Philippines occupied much of his time.

Through the early eighties, he consulted extensively to Esso in PNG and in the latter half of the decade his focus was on Indonesia, extending his experience in the use of helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft in remote areas to over forty years.

For ten years (1991-2001) he worked in South America, as a manager and consultant - dominantly in Chile, Peru and Argentina. Three offices have been set up for different companies and major studies in which he participated include those on Collahuasi, El Pachon and Bajo de la Alumbrera.

Ernesto is a specialist in Community Relations with over 35 years experience in the mining industry in the Philippines. He was a key player in securing agreements with the indigenous tribes in one of the only two FTAAs signed to date; and was responsible for the approval of the first Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) under President Arroyo's Administration. He was a senior executive with various Australian companies including WMC, Lafayette, and before that with Atlas Mining at its copper mines in Toledo City.
